Marianne Meister graduated as an architect at ETH Zurich in 2015. After gathering work experience in Gigon Guyer Architekten and Meier Hug Architekten she joined Sergison Bates architects in London where she worked as an architect from 2016-2018. With an international background, Marianne Meister values architecture as a collaborative discipline and in 2018 she started developing her own practice and co-founded Kōbō Art Space based in Zurich. Since 2019, she has been actively engaged at HSLU Institut of Architecture IAR, Horw Lucerne., starting as a Research Assistant in the Bachelor’s program. In 2020, she advanced to the role of Lecturer, managing her own design studio for four years. This position has allowed her to develop a strong foundation in curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic leadership.  In addition to her teaching role, she engages with other universities across Europe, leading workshops at the University of Antwerp and ETSAB in Barcelona. She has also participated as a guest critic at various institutions, including ETH Zurich and TU Dresden.
